The sides are not the skinny thin sides.

It s a versatile piece that s expected to morph into a couch by day or until the next sleepover. Saw this as it looks like an oversized couch perfect for the living room. The thick padding not only offers extra cushioning on the back and armrests but the backrest ios also slanted more like a couch s backrest giving you a more comfortable seating experience.

Assembly by handy is also grossly overpriced the piece also looks like a cheap sofa bed rather than a decorative daybed. It truly looks feels like a lot more expensive daybed looks more like a couch so you can have it in your family room to add more sitting space truly comfortable sleeping for guests. I have yet to sleep on or hear of a person that has actually slept on a sleeper couch gotten a comfortable night of sleep.
