Step 1 place a piece of duct tape on the tile where the shower rod will be installed and mark the spot where you will drill with a pen.

Measure from the floor on both sides of the shower enclosure to ensure that the rod will be level and then measure inward from the outer wall of the enclosure.
Replace the rod with one that fits the shower width measurement if it is.
