The best way to prevent matting is by brushing your fur jacket on a regular basis especially if you are wearing it often.
Brush in the direction that the fur is falling using long strokes.
In college use your pillowcase to bring your dirty laundry to the laundry room and throw it in with the wash.
Use your hand to smooth any areas that don t appear smooth.
Plug in a clothes iron and select a medium heat setting.
